OPERATION HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
 

1. Important events:

  + Establishment process:

-         From 1977 to 1989, the company was a branch of Ha Noi Packaging Material Company with the name Packaging Export Company Branch in Ho Chi Minh City.

-                 On 20/11/1989, the Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Economy had a Decision to establish this branch became a State Owned Company that has legal entity status, independent economic accounting, self-control in finance and called as Production Import Export and Packaging Service Company (PACKSIMEX) directly under Ministry of Foreign AffairsEconomic.

-               Until 16/12/1993, the Minister of Trade Ministry had Decision to unify Packsimex and Getronimex became Processing Production and Packaging Import-Export Company (PACKSIMEX)

 Change ownership to Joint-Stock Company:

-                Decision No.1650/QD-BTM dated 10/11/2004 of Minister of Trade Ministry about changing Processing Production and Packaging Import-Export Company to Processing Production and Packaging Import-Export Joint Stock Company (PACKSIMEX).

-               Business License No 4103003252 dated 31/03/2005 issued by Ho Chi Minh City Planning and Investment Service.

 

     2. Development process:

      + Specific business:

 Produce, process packaging, garment goods, wooden products, footwear, electric appliances, electronic bulb (not produce and process at the head office). Buy and sell plastic, papers, steel, chemicals (except chemical with highly noxious), material-machines to produce packaging, packing products, electronic goods, computers, agricultural products, aquatic products, rubber, footgear, building materials. Trade in warehouse service, keeping vehicle service, receive and deliver, transport goods. Trade in living houses, leasing working office, warehouse. Supplement: Lease machines and equipments to serve for production. Build in civil, industry. Buy and sell tobacco materials, filter cigarettes produced in domestic. Hotel, restaurant (not operate at head office). Leasing service of production workshop. Buy and sell any types of car, any types of specialized vehicle, material for wood processing: glue for wood, wipe-off chemical, worm-eaten prevention soaking, secondary material (except chemical with highly noxious). Buy and sell printers, equipments and accessories for printing. Produce sailing ship, yacht, boats and equipments of boats (except for mechanical processing, waste recycle, galvanize at head office)

+ Operation situation:

In 20 operating years, the company always preserves and develops the capital source and makes profit.

 

3. Development Orient:

      -    Incessantly raise business and production effectiveness in order to maximise   benefit of shareholders.

-          Develop real estate investment, warehouse service business.

-          Raise the physical and spiritual life for staffs, build up a company cultural environment purely and healthily to impulse labourers actually engrossed with their jobs and incessantly increase labour productivity.

-          Intensify foreign affair matters, reinforce and extend cooperation relationship, joint-venture, association with domestic and foreign partners in order to extend and develop the market.

 

-          Build image, brand name PACKSIMEX stronger and stronger and has reliability with customers.
